I began to explore and experiment new ways of interactivity, like the one with the Camera, a few years or so. Firstly developed the “mimePos”. Next step was the “iBanker” project. After a tough work on code optimization, enhancements and architectural improvements, I developed the “eyePay” project.
mimePos
Based on the older web interface with code name U Interface (you can test it here). The core idea behind the U Interface, was the user as the interface. User’s movements infront of the web camera, is the only way to explore a web site. Similarly mimePos is a front-end application for a retail shop. The cashier handles everything with simple hand movements. Ideal for high-class boutiques and jewelers.
iBanker
The foundation of this application is the research for the safest method of user identification and user login, into online banking services. Using the camera and applying advanced face recognition techniques, iBanker remains the safest option for e-Banking services.
eyePay
As a physical evolution of the above, I developed the eyePay project. As we all have our faces, what the heck we need plastic cards and security codes to buy products? eyePay is using advanced techniques from face recognition sector, in order to identify the owner of a credit card. Simplicity and safety!!! Your face is your key for secure shopping!!!
